Fans of hip-hop and electronic music will want to keep an eye on Haven Sounds, since this new Toronto/Los Angeles label just launched and announced its first signing: L.A. hip-hop duo MOORS.
This L.A. outfit consists of producer HH and rapper Keith Stanfield. Interestingly, Stanfield is also an actor and is playing Snoop Dogg in N.W.A.'s upcoming biopic Straight Outta Compton.
MOORS will release their self-titled EP on October 28 through Haven. The short collection features four songs, plus a couple of remixes (including one from the Postal Service's Dntel). The tracklist is below, and a previously unveiled video for opening cut "Asphyxiated" is streaming at the bottom of this page.
