While Tampa metal terrorizers Hate Eternal informed us last week that they have a new album called Infernus on the way, metal fans still have to play the waiting game before Season of Mist puts it in stores on August 21. Thankfully, Erik Rutan and co. have revealed the first frantic blast from the set, a sickening salvo they call "Pathogenic Apathy."
The intro pulverizes listeners with a dramatic push of TNT-powered double kick and granite-heavy guitar riffs. It quickly whips itself up into a frenzy, with hellfire blast beats, Rutan's from-the-gut growls and a blitz of detuned death metal licks steering the song into a cacophony of aural insanity.
