Harvest Picnic is set to return to Dundas, ON, this summer and the initial lineup of musical performers has just been unveiled.
Jann Arden, the Jim Cuddy Band, Alan Doyle & the Beautiful Gypsies, Joel Plaskett Emergency, the Rheostatics, Great Lake Swimmers and Cowboy Junkies top the bill.
"This fun-filled, all-star Canadian line-up was created with one thing in mind — the Harvest Picnickers themselves," said the event's founder, Jean-Paul Gauthier. "For those who have yet to experience this event, it is a true Picnic, a full day at the Lake for the entire family including children, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins."
The one-day festival will take place on August 27 at Christie Lake Conservation Area. Gates open at 11 a.m., with the musical performances kicking off at noon.
