Published Feb 11, 2010If you're the kind of person who "did it all for the nookie" and who "doesn't give a fuck" about someone else until they "give a fuck" about you and your generation, this news is for you.
Late '90s/early '00s rap-rockin', backwards-hat wearin', perpetually pissed-off white guys Limp Bizkit are set to return this year with their first new studio LP in six years, and - get this - it has "a Daft Punk vibe."
The Bizkit revealed last November that their new studio album would go by the name Gold Cobra, but now the band are letting us know what it will sound like.
Guitarist Wes Borland recently told Guitar Edge magazine [via Gigwise] that the album is inspired by Daft Punk, claiming, "It's not like we all of a sudden grew up and started making smarter music. It's definitely a fun party kinda vibe, it's a little like the old stuff but with a Daft Punk vibe thrown in."
Does anybody else smell an upcoming Kanye/Limp Bizkit collab?
I spy Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Eminem:
