Hannah Georgas Sets to Work on New LP with Holy Fuck's Graham Walsh

BY Alex HudsonPublished Apr 27, 2015

Hannah Georgas hasn't released an album since 2012's self-titled effort, but it looks as if we won't have all that much longer to wait until her next one, since the Vancouver pop-rock songwriter is currently in the studio.

So far this month, Georgas has posted a handful of photos from Toronto on her social media accounts. And an image posted last night (April 26) reveals that she is recording in the city with Graham Walsh of the bands Holy Fuck and Etiquette. The post was tagged #ghlp3, making it clear that a full-length is in the works.

In an Instagram comment, Georgas explained that she will be in Toronto until "basically July," so it seems that her recording sessions might last a while. See a couple of the relent photos below.

This is Georgas' second time working with Walsh, since he also produced Hannah Georgas. That album was nominated for a Juno Award and long-listed for the Polaris Music Prize. Prior to that, Georgas' debut album This Is Good came out in 2010.
