It's an outtake from 2020's 'All That Emotion'

Hannah Georgas is turning the page on her 2020 album All That Emotion by sharing one final B-side, "Right Love."

As with the rest of All That Emotion, it was recorded at the National's Long Pond Studio with producer Aaron Dessner. Georgas said in a statement, "We decided not to include it on the album because it had a bit of a different feel. I thought it would be nice to release it in the summertime (feels kinda summer-y), and while I've been working away on new music. It was inspired by feelings that come up when you meet someone new that you have a connection with. It all feels exciting and fresh. You want to be in the moment and not get too wrapped up in things, but there's a small part of you that wonders if it could be something more than a fling."

The song has a dreamy, gossamer pop vibe that's not too far removed from All That Emotion, although its drum machine groove, looped backing vocals and grand keyboard hits have a bit more of a modern synthpop feel than what we've heard recently from Georgas.

Hear "Right Love" below. This is the latest in a handful of extras from All That Emotion, including the All That Emotion Versions EP (made up of remixes and alternate versions) and the All That Emotion (Acoustic) EP.
