Published Jul 05, 2010The Malahat Revue is a collaboration between BC indie rockers Hannah Georgas (pictured), Said the Whale, Jeremy Fisher and Aidan Knight. The four acts are going to be hitting the road later this month, touring their home province on bicycle starting Thursday (July 8) on Salt Spring Island. Before they leave though, the collective will be playing a surprise free show in downtown Vancouver.
The event was announced on Hidden Pony's Twitter account, as the label wrote, "Surprise Malahat Revue kick off show downtown Vancouver on Wednesday at noon. It's free and location will be tweeted late Tuesday night."
You know what that means - better book Wednesday afternoon off work and check back for that follow-up tweet.
If you're in Vancouver, but can't make it on Wednesday, the group will be coming to the Folk Festival on July 18. If you live elsewhere in BC, check out the group's tour schedule below.
