Vancouver songwriting fave Hannah Georgas released her self-titled album a year ago this month, and now she's released a few of the songs in live form as part of an iTunes Session EP.
The EP features live in-studio versions of five tunes from Hannah Georgas. These use synth textures and electric guitars to recreate the glassy, electronic sound of the album. Rounding out the session is a cover of Rihanna's "Stay." Georgas' version of the song is tuneful and downtempo, although it sounds slightly perkier than Rihanna's sombre original.
The session was was recorded at Revolution Recordings in Toronto during the summer. The tracklist is below. The EP is available to purchase from iTunes for $4.99 right here.
