Hannah Georgas Announces Fall Canadian Tour

BY Whitney TamPublished Aug 17, 2010

It's been a busy year for Vancouver sweetheart Hannah Georgas. Along with releasing her This Is Good LP, she landed a Polaris Music Prize nod, went on a bicycle tour with the Malahat Revue and even scored the cover of Exclaim!'s May issue. Now, Georgas is ready to hit the road this fall to deliver some of her pop goodness across Canada and overseas.

Along with a slew of shows in Ontario, the singer-songwriter will be making stops on the West coast and Prairies, as well as over the border in New York and across the pond in Germany. Along the way, Royal Wood will join Georgas for several of the stops. Tickets for her Canadian dates will be on sale this Friday (August 20).

Georgas will also be releasing a new digital-only track entitled "Stranger to Me" (co-written with Matt DeMatteo and Jaylene Johnson) on August 24. According to the press release, the song deals with "the familiar and painful territory of being hopelessly stuck in relationship limbo" and may be "her catchiest song to date."
