So many jokes have been made about the album title already, so we'll spare you from simply repeating it. The thing is though, they're right. Georgas has blossomed at top speed since her debut EP, The Beat Stuff, was released in 2008. She evolved effortlessly from the cute girl with a guitar to the woman with moxy, radiating confidence, who dragged herself naked through mud on the music video for "Thick Skin." On This is Good, she shows that she can also push herself into a number of genres: from rock on "Chit Chat" to electro pop on "Come on the Dancefloor" to spunky folk on "The Deep End." This is Good is her musical coming-of-age into the Vancouver, BC pop scene and the rest of Canada. Her charm is infectious; in fact, you'll most likely find yourself singing along in no time. The only thing you might be cursing about this album is that it won't leave your head.
