Hallow Moon

'Hallow Moon' (album stream)

Vancouver psych outfit Hallow Moon are the latest band to release an album through Neptoon Records, as their self-titled collection dropped this week. For those who like to listen before they buy, the entire thing is available to stream.

Although the album includes just seven songs, the bulk of them are well over five minutes long, meaning that this one can be classified as a full-length. It douses its gritty garage tunes in woozy, reverb-hazed psychedelia.

According to press release release, "Their first album, self-titled Hallow Moon, is a combination of familiar instruments and harmonized melodies used to tell stories of apocalyptic demise, drug-induced realizations, complicated suicides, frustrated social outbursts, yearned-for loves, and apologetic losses." Hear the album below.

The band will release the album with a show on November 23 at Rainbow Connection with the Shilohs and Skinny Kids.
