Between their initial lineup announcement and a follow-up expansion, the organizers over at Halifax Pop Explosion have been getting our hopes up for the fall festival. Now, things are looking even more exciting thanks to another wave of artist additions.
The final pre-festival lineup announcement finds Daniel Caesar, the Luyas, Freelove Fenner, She-Devils and Repartee getting added to the roster.
They join previously announced acts like Hey Rosetta!, PUP, White Lung, the Barr Brothers, Keys N Krates, Charles Bradley, Basia Bulat, Grandtheft, TUNS, Holy Fuck, Voivod, Harrison and Nap Eyes. See the full list of announced artists in the poster pictured above.
In addition to the musical performances, Halifax Pop Explosion will also play host to comedy shows and the XPAND Music Conference, which aims "at strengthening and growing the Halifax music community" through a series of panel discussions, roundtable talks, networking events and the inaugural Canadian Label Summit. The full list of participants and speakers will be revealed on September 20, and you'll be able to find all of the information here.
