A Halifax metal fan took her love of Lamb of God to the next level over the weekend, walking down the aisle to the band's 2004 song, "Remorse Is for the Dead."

Amanda Kenny (née Lowther) incorporated her fandom into her wedding over the weekend, outfitting her party in black attire and throwing up devil horns for group photos. As for the aisle walk, she shared footage on Twitter yesterday (October 14), with the hopes of thanking the band for being a part of her special day.

"I got married this last weekend and the intro to 'Remorse Is for the Dead' was my aisle song. My son who walked with me is named Adler," she wrote, tagging the band and asking them to "please show Willie!"

While Willie Adler has yet to respond to the post, Kenny's aisle walk caught the eye of the band's Mark Morton, who responded to the video.

"Congratulations Amanda! You look beautiful!" Morton replied. "Honoured we could be a part of the joy."

We can't help but wonder if any other heavy tunes made it into the rest of the event, like that time a Nigerian wedding party went got down to System of a Down during their reception. Maybe Kenny will share more footage from her special day in the coming weeks. Until then, see a video of the bride's entrance walk below.
