Hüsker Dü's Grant Hart Announces Solo Tour

BY Josiah HughesPublished Nov 5, 2009

Last month, former Hüsker Dü drummer Grant Hart broke a ten-year silence by releasing an anticipated new solo album called Hot Wax. As we told you, the album saw Hart collaborate with members of Silver Mt. Zion and Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Releasing a new album is a big enough feat after a decade-long break, but Hart isn't stopping there. Instead, he'll end the year with a North American solo tour. Besides some interesting U.S. dates, including an opening slot for the Meat Puppets, Hart will also pop up in Canada for some chilly mid-December shows in Toronto and Montreal.

Following the North American tour, the semi-official Grant Hart MySpace page has posted a blog entry stating that he plans to tour Australia in February of 2010.
