GZA, Killer Mike and Wavves Offshoot Sweet Valley Team Up for North American Tour, Hit Toronto

Though GZA recently rereleased his beloved Liquid Swords LP, the Wu-Tang MC hasn't said exactly when he'll drop his long-awaited new album, Dark Matter. Fans just may be able to catch some new cuts performed in the flesh, though, when GZA heads out on a North American tour in September.

As Pitchfork reports, the iconic rap figure will take his tunes on the road for a 15-show stretch he's dubbing "The 64 Squares Tour" (remember, dude's a big chess fan). Joining GZA on the trip are R.A.P. Music-deliverer Killer Mike, Wavves main man Nathan Williams's new beat project Sweet Valley, and Brooklyn's Bear Hands. Though most dates take place in the U.S., the acts will make their way into Canada for a performance in Toronto on September 15. You can check out all the dates down below.

While GZA may or may not have some new tracks to show off, Sweet Valley will no doubt be repping their debut beat tape Stay Calm, which arrives August 7 via Fool's Gold.
