Guns N' Roses Working On New Album

With Axl Rose as the only original member, the current line-up of Guns N' Roses warrant an asterisk beside their name. Nonetheless, there's no one that balances hard rock balladry and bat-shit crazy news headlines like the late '80s rock leftovers. That's why the news of a new Guns N' Roses album on the horizon is pretty damn exciting.

According to a report from WENN.com, current GN'R axe-man DJ Ashba said the band are heading into the studio to record a follow-up to 2008's Chinese Democracy. While that album took 14 years to complete after it was announced, Ashba promises this one will come a little quicker.

"We're talking about that [the new album] right now," he says. "We've been throwing around a bunch of ideas and it should be good. We've got a lot of good stuff on the plate coming out. It won't take as long, I promise... I'm excited to get this next one rolling. Axl has a lot of good shit up his sleeves, so I'm really excited about it."
