Published Sep 04, 2010It may be a long Labour Day weekend, but that isn't stopping us from delivering our always trusty news roundup. Here's what's on deck this time out.
First up, Guns N' Roses are, well, being Guns N' Roses. While out on their UK tour, Axl Rose and the gang (whoever they are these days) first caused trouble on a pair of festival dates, when the band took the stage late, broke curfew and had the plug pulled on them. And if that wasn't enough, GN'R was forced off stage at a Dublin show due to angry fans pelting the group with bottles. See? Guns N' Roses being Guns N' Roses.
On the Canadian front this week, we got the exciting news that Feist is finally getting to work on her new album and that Caribou is turning his Caribou Vibration Ensemble concert into a live album. Oh, and then there was Lady Gaga royally pissing off the mayor of Edmonton with a vagina joke.
Also, we had Radiohead getting a new concert film (which courtesy of some very dedicated fans is completely free), Paste ceasing its print operations and Kings of Leon revealing their new album.
Finally, if you've always wondered what really happened with Klaxons whole "experimental" album debacle, you should click here. You might also just get news of the band's plans for some new EPs.
