The hilarious ongoing saga of Guns N' Roses' comeback tour continues, as the rockers were detained at the Canadian border after trying to sneak a gun into Canada.
The band played at Toronto's Rogers Centre on July 16, with Axl Rose explaining to the crowd that they were shut down at the border after they attempted to enter the country with a firearm.
"We weren't exactly arrested, we were detained," Rose clarified onstage. "They were very understanding. You know, it happens — you can forget you had a fuckin' gun."
Rose went on to insist that it wasn't his gun on the bus, although why wouldn't the guy from Guns N' Roses be carrying a gun?
Had they gone a step further and tried to bring roses into Canada, they could have faced similar scrutiny. After all, the guards are very strict about bringing plants across the border.
