Guidestones Get Silly in "Ground Control" Video Premiere

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 19, 2018

Not many bands can bill themselves as a folk-inspired group that spawned from Montreal's metalcore scene, but Guidestones certainly can. They're gearing up to release their latest LP Keep Me Up, and have teased the upcoming record with a video for "Ground Control."

The peppy tune gets paired with equally bright visuals, featuring a bike ride beneath blue skies. The bandmates cruise down a country road, spraying each other with silly string, drinking beers and getting bombarded by an onslaught of water balloons.

"We made this video entirely ourselves with the help of friends and family," the band's Gabrielle Larue tells Exclaim! "We had a blast making it (obviously) and we think it captures the vibe of the band and the song really well."
