Guided by Voices Announce 'Tremblers and Goggles by Rank,' Their Second Album of 2022

The ever-prolific Guided by Voices delivered two albums last year, and are poised to hit that mark earlier in 2022 with the announcement of Tremblers and Goggles by Rank. The band's 36th studio effort will arrive July 1 via frontman Robert Pollard's Rockathon Records label.

Following March's Crystal Nuns CathedralTremblers and Goggles by Rank features the previously shared single "Alex Bell" and the newly-arrived "Unproductive Funk," both of which you can hear below.

The 10-song LP, now available for pre-order, also includes songs titled "Lizard on the Red Brick Wall," "Roosevelt's Marching Band," "Focus on the Flock" and "Who Wants to Go Hunting."

Guided by Voices released both Earth Man Blues and It's Not Them. It Couldn't Be Them. It Is Them! in 2021, after sharing Surrender Your Poppy FieldMirrored Aztec and Styles We Paid For in 2020.

As previously reported, Guided by Voices are touring North America this year, though a Toronto stop has yet to be rescheduled following a cancellation last December. You can find their current itinerary here.
