The ever-prolific Guided by Voices delivered two albums last year, and are poised to hit that mark earlier in 2022 with the announcement of Tremblers and Goggles by Rank. The band's 36th studio effort will arrive July 1 via frontman Robert Pollard's Rockathon Records label.
Following March's Crystal Nuns Cathedral, Tremblers and Goggles by Rank features the previously shared single "Alex Bell" and the newly-arrived "Unproductive Funk," both of which you can hear below.
The 10-song LP, now available for pre-order, also includes songs titled "Lizard on the Red Brick Wall," "Roosevelt's Marching Band," "Focus on the Flock" and "Who Wants to Go Hunting."
Guided by Voices released both Earth Man Blues and It's Not Them. It Couldn't Be Them. It Is Them! in 2021, after sharing Surrender Your Poppy Field, Mirrored Aztec and Styles We Paid For in 2020.
