Festival season is long over and Canadian music fans are bundling up for the winter, but Guelph, ON residents will get some reprieve on December 5 and 6 thanks to the 12th edition of the Stay Out of the Mall festival at the Ebar.

The Thursday show on December 5 will be headlined by Holy Fuck's Brian Borcherdt and his project Dusted, with other performers including Marine Dreams (led by ex-Attack in Black member Ian Daniel Kehoe) and Esther Grey.

As for the Friday gig on December 6, top billing goes to Canadian songwriter staple Sarah Harmer. Also playing that night are Bry Webb (of Constantines) and Grey Kingdom (a.k.a. Attack in Black's Spencer Burton).

Tickets are available now and can be purchased here, and they will soon be sold at Bookshelf in Guelph. Thursday costs $12 (or $10 with a non-perishable food item) and Friday costs $20 (or $18 with a non-perishable food item).

Proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society to benefit leukemia research in memory of Sharon Marshall.
