For several years now, the folks behind Guelph, ON's Hillside Festival have been running a winter event called Hillside Inside, and 2013 will be no exception. The event's sixth instalment will run from February 1 to 3, and it will feature some prominent Canadian talent.

On February 1, the festivities will kick off with Great Lake Swimmers joined by Suzuki String School of Guelph. Also on the bill for this show at the River Run Centre are Elliott Brood.

The February 2 concert will feature a performance by Hannah Georgas and Doug Paisley at St. George's Anglican Church. That night, the same venue will host Hollerado and Born Ruffians.

And on February 3, K'naan (with Sarah Felker) will cap off Hillside Inside at the River Run Centre.

Other events will include workshops, sports, hand drumming, short films and dance performance. Tickets will go on sale on December 1 and will be available at the River Run Centre box office.

It's also time to start thinking about next summer's edition of Hillside Festival. This 30th anniversary instalment will run from July 26 to 28 at Guelph Lake Island. A limited batch of 250 tickets will be released in time for the holidays on December 1 at the Hillside office and at Hempire.
