Grimes Releases 'Visions' Rarities on New EPs

It's been a huge year for Grimes since she released her 4AD debut Visions. The career-making album has even been topping some year-end lists, including a lofty "album of the year" designation from Rough Trade and Resident.

To celebrate, the artist born Claire Boucher has offered exclusive, unreleased and rare material to each of those shops on two new CDs. The Rough Trade disc includes collaborations with Jay Worthy and Majical Cloudz along with remixes and a song called "Ambrosia," while the Resident mix includes the songs "Angel" and "Life After Death" with two other remixes.

The Rough Trade CD can be purchased here while the Resident mix is available here.

If there's something we can learn from this, it's that we should all consider naming Visions "album of the year" in the small chance that Boucher will send us some unreleased tracks.
