Last night (October 31), Harper's Bazaar hosted their annual Women of the Year ceremony. The star-studded event saw athletes, actors, designers, musicians and more honoured at a gala in London, UK.
Canadian pop genius Grimes was amongst those present, walking the red carpet and accepting the award for Musician of the Year.
In addition to releasing Art Angels last fall, Grimes has had a busy year in 2016, contributing songs to Suicide Squad and NBA 2K17. She also recently unveiled seven new videos from her aforementioned Art Angels album.
Grimes opened up the discussion about the lack of female representation at Canadian awards shows last year, when she called out the Junos for ignoring women producers.
Other recipients of this year's Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year awards included Annie Lennox, Emma Watson, Felicity Jones, Keira Knightley and the evening's top honouree, Rio Olympic cyclist Laura Trott, who was dubbed Woman of the Year.
