Though she's been at work on new material as of late, Grimes took time out of her studio schedule today (April 19) to appear on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Mac for both a performance and interview.
Accompanied by HANA, the Canadian-born, Los Angeles-based artist performed "REALiTi" and "Flesh Without Blood" from her acclaimed 2015 disc Art Angels, as well as a cover of Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria," which she is known to include in her live sets.
The two also spoke about writing and producing processes, co-directing Grimes' video for "Kill v. Maim," and what other clips she has in store to accompany her new tunes.
