Grimes and Blood Diamonds Team Up for "Phone Sex"

Grimes' current tour schedule behind Visions has the experimental electronic artist born Claire Boucher out on the road for the next little while, but before she took off on tour, the Exclaim! cover star laid down a track with fellow Vancouver native Blood Diamonds called "Phone Sex," and the single will drop early next month.

While details are scarce at best, Blood Diamonds tweeted today (March 9) that the collaborative track will arrive April 3. He also posted what is presumably the artwork for the single, which you can see above.

It's unclear whether "Phone Sex" will arrive as a stand-alone track or if it will be packaged with a few other numbers, but Boucher recently spoke of the tune to Discorder, admitting that the song's genesis came from a night of partying.

"We did a bunch of Dexedrine and drank a bunch of gin and made the sleaziest pop song of all time," she said, hinting that the cut's lyrics might imply an "incestuous relationship." Grimes also claims "Phone Sex" is "like a K-pop version of 'We Found Love' by Rihanna."
