Grimes judging a CGI singing competition? Sure why not! The AI-loving Canadian pop star has been named as one of the judges of Alter Ego, Fox's new musical reality show, alongside Alanis Morissette, Nick Lachey and Will.i.am.
Alter Ego is an avatar-based singing competition in which contestants will reinvent themselves with digital personas. Rocsi Diaz will serve as host.
Fox exec Rob Wade said in a statement, "Alter Ego merges talent and technology to revolutionize the singing competition show in only a way Fox can do. We are so excited to bring the fantastic will.i.am, Alanis, Grimes, Nick and Rocsi together as they search for the next big singing star, allowing incredible vocalists a chance to realize their dreams and perform like never before."
