Greys Ready 'Repulsion' 7-inch, Share New Track

Toronto post-punk outfit Greys offered up a surprise Record Store Day reissue earlier this year, but now they've got something fresh on the way.

The new 7-inch is called Repulsion. It's made up of three brand new Greys songs and was recorded with Howard Bilerman at the fabled Hotel2Tango studio in Montreal.

"We wanted to take ourselves out of our comfort zone," frontman Shehzaad Jiwani said in a press release. "It's still the same ingredients, but we've recontextualized everything so that these songs aren't just a continuation of If Anything."

As evidenced on "I'd Hate to Be an Actor," Bilerman's production has added some warm analog crunch to the band's attack. Further, despite heavy playing all around, it's their most melodic track yet.
