This 'Gremlins' Vinyl Reissue Transforms When You Expose It to Water and Bright Light

While soundtrack hub Mondo just announced a seriously intense reissue of the Fight Club score, the label has truly outdone itself with its latest reveal: Gremlins.

Today (November 16), Mondo revealed the details for the upcoming vinyl reissue for Jerry Goldsmith's score to the 1984 cult classic from director Joe Dante. The reissue will be pressed as a double-LP set, and best of all, it comes with some truly amazing artwork that — get this — will actually change when it gets wet or is exposed to bright light.

With the art all handled by Mondo regulars Phantom City Creative, the vinyl's gatefold sleeves are ultraviolet-sensitive and reveal hidden messages when exposed to bright light. As for the disc sleeves, they are water sensitive, revealing additional artwork when they get wet.

So far there is no word on what happens if you feed it after midnight.

Gremlins will go on sale November 30.
