Greg Graffin

"Lincoln's Funeral Train" live on No Future

BY Bradley Zorgdrager Published Apr 6, 2017

Greg Graffin tends to take around a decade between solo albums, but who can blame him? He does, after all, have to keep up with his day job as frontman of punk legends Bad Religion. So when he took his 2017 solo release Millport out for a quick tour, our Exclaim! TV's No Future made sure to catch him and his band for a live session filmed during soundcheck.

It was right before doors opened that the six-piece ran through lead single "Lincoln's Funeral Train." What's perhaps most striking about the performance is how spot-on it is to the album version, but the visuals are far from the black-and-white, historical footage of the music video, with the lustrous backdrop of Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern captivating the eye.
