Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy Postpone Their "Hella Mega Tour" Until 2021

BY Brock ThiessenPublished May 19, 2020

As could be unfortunately expected at this point, Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy have totally called off "The Hella Mega Tour."

While the bands already scrapped the European portion of the tour, they now realize COVID-19 knows no borders, leading them to do the same for the trek's upcoming U.S. and Canadian dates.

The North American leg had been set to start in mid-July and run until the end of August. Now, though, the North American portion of "The Hella Mega Tour" won't take place until summer 2021.

So yes, the Toronto date on August 24 isn't happening this year.

Down below, you can find the bands' message to fans breaking the bad news.

Earlier this year, Green Day released their Father of All... album, while Weezer are eyeing their Van Weezer album, though the release of that record has now been postponed. Fall Out Boy, meanwhile, released their Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die - Volume Two last year.
