It's a big day to like Green Day. In addition to confirming news of "The Hella Mega Tour" with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, the long-running punk rock trio will return with a new album this year.
Green Day's latest is called Father of All..., but based on its questionable album art (available above), we're thinking the intended full title ends with the word "Motherfuckers."
Before we get the full drop, the album's title track can be streamed now. It's less pop-punk and more arena rock, as Tre Cool drops syncopated beats and Billie Joe Armstrong sings in a stadium-ready falsetto.

The three bands are celebrating the tour announcement tonight with a special show at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles. The general on sale for all shows begins September 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
In addition to Green Day announcing a new album today, Fall Out Boy unveiled their new record Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die - Volume Two (out November 15 via Island Records), while Weezer revealed the band's Van Weezer (out on May 15 via Crush/Atlantic).
