Green Day have been getting fans' hopes up by rehearsing their old albums for a still unannounced reason, but last night (October 30) they finally put that practice to good use by performing Dookie in its entirety.

The band were playing in Madrid, Spain, ahead of the MTV EMAs this weekend, and surprised the crowd by running through the full album from "Burnout" to hidden final track "All by Myself."

As NME reports, the band returned for an encore of later hits, then another encore of two tracks from American Idiot.

The band have still not announced any full-album tours or dates, despite rehearsing Dookie, Insomniac and Kerplunk! last year.

Green Day will release a new album titled Father of All… on February 7 via Reprise/Warner. They will also join Weezer and Fall Out Boy on the "Hella Mega Tour" next summer.
