Eternal punk daddies Green Day continue to write and rewrite the same pop song, as if they're stuck in some sort of green Groundhog Day. Fortunately, as Revolution Radio single "Still Breathing" proves, the song is a decent one.
The emotive little pop-punk ditty utilizes some loud-quiet-loud dynamics to drive its singalong chorus home, and it's been fitted with a melodramatic video.
The clip uses slo-mo shots of the band (and some extras) as they gaze longingly into the distance. The visuals work well with the song, but if you imagine someone reading side-effects out over the footage it also starts to seem like a punk-tinged Cialis commercial.
