Green Day

"Nuclear Family" (video)

Green Day's ambitious video for the dance-rock-inspired "Kill the DJ" had the pop punk vets going on an epic motorcycle journey and hanging out with some club kids, but the band keep things to the point in the new clip for fellow iUno! number "Nuclear Family."

As you can see in the player down below, the video is a straight-up performance clip, with the band bashing out a melodic punk tune in a bunker, no doubt prepping for that upcoming North American tour. Just like the visuals, the song itself is a pretty simple affair, coming across like a juiced-up take on "My Boyfriend's Back" and any number of songs the band have crafted since 39/Smooth.

As previously reported, the troupe's three-album cycle of ¡Uno!¡Dos! and ¡Tré! is set for release on September 25, November 13 and January 15, respectively, via Reprise.
