BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 24, 2017

Canadian indie folk unit Great Lake Swimmers are kicking off the holiday season with a festive new EP. Today (November 24), they've unveiled a brand new four-song set titled They Don't Make Them Like That Anymore.

Amongst the tunes on the new offering are originals like the title track and "Ink for a Star," as well as classics "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" and "Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella."

Frontman Tony Dekker describes "They Don't Make Them Like That Anymore" as "a nostalgia-tinged song about the days before thoughtless consumerism and memories of those we've lost over the years," while "Ink for a Star" stands as a testament to childhood memories of the Canadian winter.
