Grandaddy

"Evermore"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 13, 2017

We're looking forward to a new Grandaddy album called Last Place later this year, and the band have kindly helped ease the wait time by sharing another LP cut.

"Evermore" is the latest single to make its way online, following "Way We Won't" and "A Lost Machine."

Speaking to NPR, frontman Jason Lytle admitted, "I have no idea what the song is about. But I really like the imagery of sad dirty trees that live by the freeway and throwing stuff out of commercial airliners."

You can hear that imagery get set to the tune of looping synths by giving "Evermore" a spin in the player below. Last Place is due out on March 3 via 30th Century.
