Grammy Performance Highlights ft. Bruce Springsteen, Beach Boys, Foo Fighters, Adele, Nicki Minaj

Sunday (February 12) marked one of the year's biggest nights in music, as the Grammys took over Los Angeles and got the world watching. Big winners included Adele, Bon Iver and Kanye West, which you can read about over here, and of course there were a lot of big performances as well.

The night kicked off with Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band powering through new single "We Take Care of Our Own." While the Boss delivered a fairly tame opening sequence, the Grammys stayed in line with its pattern of throwing unusual musical pairings on stage later in the show.

In a tribute to dance music, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne joined David Guetta on stage, which was followed by an extremely bizarre collaboration between the Foo Fighters and deadmau5. There was also a fairly cringe-worthy Beach Boys tribute courtesy of Maroon 5 and Foster the People, though things picked up a bit when the Beach Boys themselves (kind of) took the stage to run through "Good Vibrations."

The ever-classy Adele seemed to have recovered from her throat surgery as she belted out "Rolling in the Deep" and managed to snag all of the six awards she was up for this year. Then Drake introduced Nicki Minaj and shit got really weird. Check out her Exorcist-inspired performance, including a short film and some church folk.
