If you're anything like us, you've been wondering when Beth Ditto would be reconvening with Gossip for the follow-up to 2009's Music for Men. Well, here's your answer: this May, when the band return with the new album Perfect World A Joyful Noise.
Information is still scarce at this point, but the title track premiered today (March 12) on BBC Radio 1. Listen the synth-laden pop tune at the bottom of this page, courtesy of Le 3e heure! [via Consequence of Sound].
The single was produced by Xenomania, who has worked with the likes of Pet Shop Boys and Kylie Minogue. According to NME, Mark Ronson is also serving as producer on the record.
All will doubtless be revealed in due course. Until then, listen to "Perfect World" below. The track also of course follows Beth Ditto's solo EP from 2011.
