Gordon Lightfoot to Fill in for Neil Young at Greenbelt Harvest Picnic
Earlier this week, Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancelled their upcoming North American dates because of guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro's broken hand. This included their August 31 appearance at Dundas, ON's Greenbelt Harvest Picnic. Luckily, the festival has managed to fill his place with a fittingly legendary songwriter.

The latest addition to the festival bill is iconic Canadian tunesmith Gordon Lightfoot. He joins a lineup that includes Emmylou Harris, Daniel Lanois, Arkells, Whitehorse, Basia Bulat, Trixie Whitley and others. Even more performers will be added in the coming days.

Furthermore, those who bought tickets to the event prior to August 21 can collect a partial refund of $40 at point of purchase beginning tomorrow (August 24) at 10 a.m. local time. Those who purchased through Ticketmaster will be contacted automatically.

The Greenbelt Harvest Picnic will also feature a farmers market, visual art, craft vendors and family activities. The event celebrates local food, community and environmental protection.
