As the front-man for mall-punk champions Good Charlotte and the father of socialite Nicole Richie's children, Joel Madden doesn't have too much by way of cred. So it's hard to know who will be lining up to buy his planned memoir.
Still, according to People, the teenage 30-year-old is planning to write a book about his life. But if you're thinking it'll be all about being misunderstood by your parents and getting hassled by mall security, think again.
Apparently, it'll focus on the "big changes" in his life. Madden says: "It would be about my life. It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A... the big life changes that I've gone through.
"If I put a book out, I want it to be something that matters to me. It has to be real; you can't just put a book out to put a book out."
"I want every page to mean something."
