Gold Panda Returns with 'Half of Where You Live' LP, Premieres New Single
UK beat-bringer Gold Panda has announced he'll follow this year's surprise EP Trust with a full-sized effort called Half of Where You Live. The new LP arrives June 11 as a split release between Ghostly International and Gold Panda's own NOTOWN imprint.

A tracklisting has yet to pop up for the platter, Gold Panda's first full-length since his 2010 debut Lucky Shiner, but the song cycle is said to be "the product of a period spent touring the world multiple times around, absorbing influences and probing potential new avenues of creative exploration." Song titles revealed thus far for the 11-song LP include "Enoshima," "My Father in Hong Kong 1961," "We Work Nights," "Junk City II," "Community," and newly unveiled teaser track "Brazil."

"I wanted to make a track that soundtracked my ride from the airport to downtown," Gold Panda said in a statement of the latter. "The [vocal] sample is kind of like an excited chant, bigging up the place, then it all gets confusing to replicate the traffic and buildings."

You can stream the low-key yet luscious shimmer of "Brazil" now via the player down below, and that's the album cover above.

As previously reported, Gold Panda makes his way out to North America in May, with Canadian shows set up in Toronto and Montreal. You can see all of his upcoming dates down below.
