Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Growing Members Team Up as Hiss Tracts for Constellation Debut

Constellation Records has welcomed another act into its hefty stable, keeping things in the family by bringing on Godspeed You! Black Emperor offshoot Hiss Tracts for an as-yet-undetailed debut album.

Info on the record is sparse, but the project is the product of a collaboration between Godspeed You! Black Emperor/Set Fire to Flames' David Bryant and Kevin Doria (Growing, Total Life). The pair have apparently been building up a catalogue of material over the last several years, with the drone duo's work being described in a press release as "nebulous and disorienting" and tracks featuring "beat-less walls of sound."

The info on the group's first full-length will apparently be delivered in full next week. So far, it's been revealed that the record should land sometime in May and that it will include the newly unveiled "halo getters." The cascading soundscape has been fit with visuals from Godspeed You! Black Emperor projectionist Karl Lemieux, and you'll find the clip down below.
