Following their recent appearance at Calgary's Sled Island fest, post-rock royals Godspeed You! Black Emperor have announced they're going on a fuller North American tour in the fall.
The Montreal-based outfit's label, Constellation Records, unveiled the tour schedule this morning (July 7), confirming over a dozen upcoming concerts around North America. While the bulk of these take place in the U.S., a Canadian stop has been scheduled at Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on September 26.
Following the North American gigs, which wrap in New York, the collective head over to Europe for a series of dates. You'll find all of the upcoming show info down below.
The long-running, reunited Godspeed You! Black Emperor are touring behind this year's Asunder, Sweet and Other Distress. Exclaim!'s review of the band's appearance at last month's Sled Island noted that they "left the crowd dazedly reaching for the exit after two hours of nonstop excellence."
