Published Dec 22, 2008Christmas is a time for giving, and some record labels really like to get into the spirit. Take, for example, New York electro/hip-hop boutique label Ghostly International. Besides releasing fantastic records from the likes of Dabrye, Matthew Dear and School of Seven Bells, the label likes to spread the good vibes with an annual holiday box set.
For their third year in a row, the label have outdone themselves with The Ghostly Box, which features an exclusive Ghostly T-shirt, a Ghostly Moleskine notebook, a limited pressing of the Ghostly Swim compilation, your choice of one of Ghostly's 2008 releases, a set of lapel pins, some Ghostly computer decals and various stickers, all of which will make the set look mighty fine under your Christmas tree. The box goes for $60, so it's pretty affordable. But it's also limited and hand-numbered to 50 copies, so it's probably already gone. It's still worth a try though, and you can peep it here.
