Published Feb 04, 2010Last month, it seemed as if the long-anticipated record from Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Method Man was right on track. It had the title Wu Massacre and a release date of February 9. All the rappers needed was a name for their group. As a result, they set up a texting competition, asking fans to name the band.
While it's unclear if a final name came to them via the contest (though some service charge money undoubtedly did), the trio have decided to change the name for the album. They're calling it Three the Hard Way. Raekwon dropped the news in a video message for XXL. The video, which was recorded on a BC ferry, is playable below.
The album's release date has now been moved back to March 9, with plans to shoot a video before then. Seeing as how they continue to change their minds about every aspect of the album, don't be surprised when it all gets switched around yet again.
