In the wake of Bushwick Bill revealing his diagnosis with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Geto Boys have announced plans to reunite for a series of farewell tour dates.

The tour, dubbed "The Beginning of a Long Goodbye: The Final Farewell," will kick off May 24 in Pontiac, MI. A portion of proceeds will go to support pancreatic cancer awareness.

At present, only three additional stops have been set for Cleveland, New York City and Washington, DC, though a press release points to "a few more" being announced in the coming days.

"I look forward to joining the guys again for this final farewell to the Geto Boys," the group's Scarface in a statement. "We had a lot of memories, good and bad, and a lot of great music. Man it's gonna be a tear jerker walking away from this- a time in my life that threw learning curves and growing pains at the same time. Thanks to all the Geto Boys and Girls around the world that helped to protect this brand. Bill and Will, I love you guys. God bless you both in your future travels whatever they may be. So long fellas…"

Upon sharing news of his diagnosis earlier this month, Bushwick Bill revealed that he is currently at work on three albums, a book and documentary. Last year, Get Boys' DJ Ready Red died aged 53 of an apparent heart attack.

Tour dates:

05/24 Pontiac, MI - The Crofoot
05/25 Cleveland, OH - Agora Theatre
05/29 Washington, DC - Howard Theatre
05/30 New York, NY - Sony Hall
