Just because the holiday is over doesn't mean there aren't plenty of reasons to be thankful. Exclaim!'s weekly DVD Round-Up is one of many, so whether you are gearing up for Halloween or just looking to enjoy the latest releases, here is your review guide for the best and the worst.

One of the most talked about documentaries this year has to be Anvil! The Story of Anvil, which follows the group of middle-aged metalheads as they cling to the little fame they have left and look for a second chance at stardom. This film is rumoured to be up for an Oscar nomination, and it's definitely deserving of such praise.

Also, this time of year is notorious for horror movies, both good and bad, getting released just in time for Halloween. Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead looks to be another nail in this unknown series coffin and Sam Raimi's return to horror, Drag Me to Hell, doesn't fair that much better, though at least proves to be an entertaining watch while it lasts.

Something truly horrific, though not in the "scary" genre, would be Jackass: The Lost Tapes, which showcases Johnny Knoxville and the gang in all the skits that never made the show or movies. In regards to drama, Three Monkeys explores a family through their hardships while they experience a major communication breakdown.

It's Garry Shandling's Show: The Complete Series may be your best bet for humour this week, showcasing the comedian in his first televised sitcom. Director Rian Johnson's The Brothers Bloom is an equally good choice, though it may leave you feeling a little unfulfilled by the end.
