Published Jun 09, 2011If you haven't been keeping track of all the happenings on Exclaim! TV, we have you covered with a roundup of all the recent videos. So come check up on what's been keeping our production team busy.
First up, Vancouver-based rapper and Juno Award winner Shad has been putting in quite the amount of work as of late with his cross-Canada tour. The burning-bright hip-hop star had quite the interview at Trinity Bellwoods Park in Toronto recently, as the artist interviewed himself. It may sound awkward but the result is hilarious and intriguing. See Shad open up about why he does not use Facebook or Twitter, and he responds to how people see him as such a "nice guy."
The Shad coverage continues as we have an exclusive rap from the rhyme master. Shad really got to let loose in the park and show his skills for our cameras as he tells a story about growing up into his "lush life."
And as if that still isn't enough Shad for you, we finish off this three-part mini-series with footage of the rapper getting down with his fans all over the country. See a recap of the tour, which was presented by Scion and Exclaim! The video finishes with Shad performing a live version of "Rose Garden" with a guest appearance by Broken Social Scene's Lisa Lobsinger.
And last but certainly not least, we brought in Toronto-based folk rock/psychedelic musicians Proof of Ghosts to the Exclaim! headquarters. The duo did a rad performance of a currently unreleased track titled "Peace in the Valley."
