Exclaim! has got plenty of new music and videos to kick off 2012 and help you recover from the hectic holiday season. Head over to our Click Hear section to check out the following highlights, plus tons of other great stuff.

Fans of iconic Seattle band Pearl Jam will be pleased to hear the recently revealed 1991 track "Chinese." The demo comes courtesy of Cameron Crowe (director of Pearl Jam Twenty) and sees Eddie Vedder's vocals taking a backseat to Stone Gossard's grungey riffs.

A contender for cutest duet ever, 500 Days of Summer co-stars Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt released a video rendition of the classic holiday tune "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" Check out Deschanel on the ukulele and Gordon-Levitt on an acoustic guitar, as they cover the tune made famous by Ella Fitzgerald. Another cover comes courtesy of psychedelic favourites the Flaming Lips, who recorded the Beatles' classic "I Am the Walrus" at Oklahoma City's Pink Floor Studio. The audio and video are as trippy as we've come to expect from Wayne Coyne and the gang.

Heavily hyped British post-punks the xx have debuted a demo version of new song "Open Eyes," which bodes well for their follow-up to 2009's self-titled, Mercury Prize-winning debut. Keeping in tune with the festive season, fellow Brit Frank Turner shared a new track entitled "Happy New Year," blending his folk-punk tendencies with the musical styling's of Jon Snodgrass.

And finally, Sub Pop signees Shearwater released "Animal Life" off their upcoming album Animal Joy, which is due out on February 14.
